Beach Day - Magnolia-licious DT

Hello!   Back again for another challenge at Magnolia-licious DT. Short post today for me..sorry. Busy summer!  This week Paola given us the following photo for inspiration:

When I look at this photo, I think of a bedroom in a beach house. Not sure why, but I do. So I used that as my inspiration along with the colors for my project.

I have used 2 mini Magnolias in for my card and masked them together. You can get all your mini maggies from the Magnolia-licious Store.

See the sand? That was created with Mudd Puddles. I LOVE this stuff. They come in a bunch of different colors and types of "sand" This one in particular is called Malibu Beach. You just use a pallet knife and apply it to the surface. It takes about 1 hour to dry and 24 hrs to cure. Fun stuff to play with. The shells were handpicked by my daugher a few days ago when she went to the beach for the afternoon. They were pretty plain so I did add a little copic coloring to them for some color.  The papers that I used are from MME - Lime Twist collection. The pearls are liquid pearls.

Hope you are able to join us for the challenge and please check out the other DT's creations...very inspiring, I will promise you that. As always, Diana gives away a $20 gift certificate to a winner chosen randomly.  So everybody has a chance to win!!!

Hugs,

What a great card, Tracy! I think the inspiration picture looks like a beach house bedroom too. Love this little Tilda and her inner tube! Your palette is perfect too. Another beautiful card for your gallery!
