Good morning! Hope everybody had a nice turkey day. Mine was pretty good. Did you venture out for some black friday shopping?? I did...but not for the big deals. I NEVER do that. I usually go shopping for myself haha I get great deals on sheets and household items. The stress of long lines to get 1 of 20 electronics is just too much for me. I will pay the extra 50 bucks or whatever it may be!!!
Today I am sharing this cutie from My Favorite Things! I love that little tree she is carrying. I have paper pieces her jacket and added some light shading. Looking at it now, it probably could have used a little bit more!!
Hey there! I'm sure most of you are busy getting ready for the upcoming Turkey Day. I have busy getting things together. I have my list, most of the food and I just have to pick up some odds and ends in a couple days. I'm cooking for the family this year. I love doing it but it can be a tab bit stressful.
I think for Christmas I am going to go low key this year. I'm almost certain of it. Normally I do a big Christmas dinner with everybody over. I feel like I am doing clean up for days though. Too much stress....so I am going to alleviate some of that this year!! It will either be a pot luck or nothing! haha Ok I say this now...but I will end up changing my mind as usual...
I'm so happy, I colored a little this weekend. I wasn't much in the mood to put cards together but I just LOVED how a couple of my images turned out so I sucked it up and made cards too. This is one of the images that I am totally digging. I was quite happy with the way she came out. So cute!
I still have a lot of my stamps packed up...so I had to go digging through my digis and I am across this one from Mo Manning. I just LOVE her hair, it was fun to color too.
I colored her with Copic markers. some of the shading was done with pastel pancils. The paper is My Minds Eye.

Gasp! Yes, it's true, I have 2 post to give you in a row!! I know, I know. Don't get too used to it. haha My time surely will start to fizzle. Actually, I probably shouldn't have dedicated as much time as I have to coloring over the last 2 weeks. I have way to much to get done. I have 1/2 of a house packed that I need to unpack. Plus I want to get my christmas stuff at least out from the attic and maybe...just maybe start putting a little bit of it up. I know it's early, but I am busy just about every weekend from here til Christmas. Basically, I need more time...or time off from work!!
I just love her and her little basket of pumpking. How stinkin' cute is she. Those braids are too cute also. She is all colored up with copics. I did some shading with pastel pencils. The ground was done with prisma color pencils and gamsol.
The border punch and twine are from MFT as well. Thanks for stopping by today!
Hello! I know, I know...it's been FOREVER since I have done a post it seems. Yes I have been playing along with Kraftin' Kimmie releases and challenges...but I haven't done much beyond that in the past few months. I went through a bit of a drought. I just wasn't feeling it when it came to taking out time to sit and color. Had nothing to do with the stamps....I have plenty of cute stamps I wanted to use. There were just vacations to be taken, books to be read, binge TV episodes to watch, house hunting to be done and little time to color!!!
I am happy to report that I have been quite productive the past couple of weeks and even a little excited about creating stuff again. I am SUPER excited about one of my besties starting up her own stamping business - SugarPea Designs!!! They are in the middle of annoucing the new DT so be sure to check it out, follow her, like it on FB......lots of giveways to come!
Here is a card I created some time ago and I am just now getting around to posting it!! yikes! Don't worry, I have lots of new stuff to show over the next couple of weeks too. This here is a stamp from My Favorite Things. She is colored with Copic markers. Looks like I did a little bit of shading with some pastel pencils as well.
